What can you expect from your wedding in Bali?

What can you expect from your wedding in Bali?

Still doubting whether or not you should get married in Bali? It is a big decision, indeed! Yes, Bali is a little paradise, but it is so far away, how can you really know what to expect from a wedding in Bali? Yes, it is indeed one of the most popular wedding destinations in the world but isn’t that exactly what spoils the magic? Is Bali still as beautiful as it once was? Let’s have a look at what you can expect from your wedding in Bali, the pro’s and con’s, the good, the bad and the ugly before you cut the knot.

The cons

Well, with the increasing flow of tourists, expats and honeymooners traveling to Bali Island, the island is getting more crowded. Especially in populair places such as Seminyak and Ubud, it is easy to get stuck in traffic jams turning a 1-hour trip into a 3 hour journey traveling at a snail’s pace. Also, the villa business is booming. More and more private villas and hotels have popped out of the ground, this means construction work, ocean views blocked and competition which in many cases doesn’t do the quality of service much good. Quite annoying things but with the right help, they can be avoided.

The Pros

Despite the booming villa and hotel businesses and the increasing amount of tourists every year, Bali Island remains of significant beauty and the magic of the Hindu cultures still roams the island everywhere. There are hidden beaches, temples and waterfalls, roads through the rice paddies where you most likely won’t meet anyone else, high ocean cliffs with views to take your breath away and within this raw beautiful landscape, there are outstanding luxury resorts and private pool villa’s found – away from the hustle and bustle, away from the traffic and the noise, from construction work and still not too far out if you don’t want it to be. These are the places for dream weddings in Bali and you will be surprised to find out how affordable these gorgeous hidden gems are. A great pick is the Bali based The Seven Agency, praised for their personal touch and expert service, their signature all-inclusive tailor-made wedding packages and their affordable rates.

Yes, I Do

So now we know, there are plenty of spectacular wedding venues around, you just need to know where and how to find them. Here comes the catch – it is very hard to find these magical places by yourself if you are not living on the island. But not to worry, as Bali is such as popular wedding destination, there are plenty of wedding agency’s around to make your dream wedding happen. The second catch is that you have to carefully choose which agency you join hands with in order not to be disappointed in the end. Luckily, it’s not that hard – just make sure they have many years of experience and a whole lot of trustable reviews. If you know what you want regarding location, atmospheres, views and amenities, The Seven Agency knows where to find it. Have a look at their wedding packages to find inspiration and ideas for your own wedding. Be sure to check out their reviews as well!

In the end, it is all up to you newlyweds to be to decide. Is it a yes or a no to Bali Island? Do remember that you are only getting married once, so be sure to make it as unforgettable as can be!

They also are running this really cool special that if you book a wedding before December of this year you get a free honeymoon at any of their 10 locations nationwide. They call it “Honeymoon on Us”.

All in all, I like the venue and the staff is very friendly and helpful. If I had to say anything negative I would say the valet parking is pretty expensive so I would be concerned about that extra cost during my event.  The food was amazing. We ate at the restaurant and had room service. The customer service of the staff was top notch.
